Traffic stop leads to drug charges

Two Florida residents were taken into custody by police on drug possession and trafficking charges on March 23. According to authorities in Fort Walton Beach, a Ford Mustang was stopped for a tint violation after receiving word that it could contain narcotics. A search revealed that there was marijuana and drug paraphernalia scales as well as 17 grams of methamphetamine.

A Florida Keys couple arrested on March 1 for selling cocaine at a Marathon Walgreens is now facing drug charges. The two sold cocaine to an undercover agent who was posing as a drug buyer inside the popular pharmacy's bathroom, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
